At first I was complaining a lot because I didn't want to go since there was something I was planning on doing, which I no longer remember. My head was also hurting and I felt dizzy. But off we went and our first stop was a bazaar type place where we got chips and salsa as well as some water since I figured I was dehydrated. I drank the water and sure enough I had been dehydrated. My aches melted away and my mom bought me a biscotti because she thought I was probably a little hungry as well. When we got back to the car, my friends dog was taking up the entire backseat so we kept having to shove her out of the way and that wasn't easy since she is a heavy dog. We then headed to a "17 mile view ride" which would take us to the beach. My friend and I acted as tour guides and we stated facts about each of the 17 views. Sometimes we got out of the car to take pictures, but other times we didn't really care that much about a certain place. I saw some cute seals and took some photos, and meanwhile I munched on my biscotti.
Finally we arrived to the actual beach. It was beautiful and there was a normal amount of people. My friend and I leapt out of the car and grabbed sand castle creating devices since we both wanted to build one. Then he pulled out a hefty shovel and then we agreed to build a giant hole. We somberly walked down to the beach and found a place to start digging. We started digging and then this one full grown Asian woman saw and kind of did an "oh" sound, then she walked a little ways off and started making a little pile of sand. I felt really awkward although my friend acted as though it were normal. We started to get pretty deep with the hole and we really wanted to reach water level. Meanwhile, our parents set out a mat and chips with salsa behind us and pigged out. Sometimes I'd go grab one other times I'd just dig. Eventually, we both gave up, so we sat down to eat and tan. My friends dog immediately went into the shady hole and relaxed, and of course we laughed at her.
